Plan Commission

Overview
The Plan Commission performs a variety of functions related to community planning and land use development. The Plan Commission’s formal roles are outlined in Wisconsin Statutes § 62.23 and Section 2.4.4, City of Glendale Code of General Ordinances. Generally, the Plan Commission is responsible for the following:

  • Community Planning
  • Plan Implementation
  • Public Participation and Education
  • Development Review
    • Business Use Applications
    • Architectural Review of non-residential properties
    • Site Plan Reviews
  • Referrals and Advisory Recommendations to Council
    • Rezoning (Map and Text)
    • Conditional Use Permits
    • Planned Development Districts

Meetings

The Plan Commission generally convenes at 6:00 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month in city hall’s Common Council Chambers. Alternative dates will occur due to holidays, scheduling conflicts, or specially called meetings. To confirm, please view the City's calendar via the website for cancellations or rescheduled dates.
